This is a chart showing the mortality rate by age for the COVID-2019 virus. These data are primarily from China, and are reported from the Chinese version of the CDC.
March 7: There have been no cases of COVID-19, the Chinese Coronavirus, confirmed in the Augusta area. There have been several suspected cases, but all turned out to be negative for COVID-19 and positive for another virus. In the US, the total count of infected stands at around 250, with 11 deaths, most of them elderly and infirmed people from a nursing home in Washington State. There have been less than 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia, all in the Atlanta area, with no deaths.
